National Testing – NAPLAN Yr 3 & 5 - Liter​ac​y & Numeracy Tests​​

Data from these tests is used by the School to track student performance and to identify students requiring support or extension. MCEEDYA provides parents with the opportunity to withdraw their sons and daughters from the NAPLAN tests. The Schoo​l does not encourage this option but is obliged to inform parents of their rights.

NAPLAN is designed and developed by ACARA in accordance with the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration made by the Education Council in December 2019.  The goals of the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration are:
